About Joining ECC
ARE WE THE RIGHT CHOIR FOR YOU?
Our association has 3 choirs for different ages and levels of experience. Visit our Choirs page for detailed information about each.
Below is a general outline of expectations and commitment that each member is expected to fulfill in a season:
- Love of music
- Perform a few concerts per year off-book
- Weekly rehearsals
- Attend an annual retreat (Chanteuses)
- Timely payment of dues
- Fulfilling volunteer commitments if fee reduction is opted for

All members who sang with an ECC group during the 2024-25 season should click the button below to enrol for the upcoming 2025-26 season:
New and Lapsed Members
Anyone who has not sung with an ECC choir in the past or has been on hiatus should click the button below to start the process for enrolling in an ECC group for the upcoming 2025-26 season:
Fee Structure Information
Annual Fee Options:
$560 full fee with no fundraising commitments
$135 reduced fee with 3 bingo volunteers shifts
Opportunities to earn additional vouchers
Volunteer Fundraising:
If you opt-in to reduce your annual fee by volunteering for Bingo/Casino events, you will be contacted by the Bingo Coordinator to set-up the dates for the events you will work and to discuss your payment deposit that is used to cover any fundraising events you do not participate in – see Payment Info below.
Payment Info:
Payment for annual fees will be accepted as eTransfers, to be sent to edmontoncolumbianchoirs@gmail.com. Include the member’s name in the message with the transfer.
For those participating in the volunteer option for fee reduction, in addition to the $135 fee payment eTransfer, 3 cheques must be submitted to the Bingo Coordinator on registration night as follows:
Shift 1: $100 / Shift 2: $150 / Shift 3: $175
Make cheques out to Edmonton Columbian Choirs, and post-date to September 1, 2026.
Cheques will be applied against the balance owing on your fees if you don’t work your scheduled bingo shifts and fail to arrange for replacements. Cheques will be destroyed as you complete your bingo shifts.
Volunteer Vouchers:
For those participating in the reduced fee payment option, There are available opportunities to work additional Bingos/Casinos beyond the first 3 mandatory shifts or for those who have paid fees in full. For every additional Bingo/Casino worked, you will earn a voucher valued at $50.
Vouchers have a 2 year expiry date and can be applied to registration fees, and for the purchase of all ECC concert tickets including Night on Broadway.
